Digital Christmas Card

Hello there,

I know it has been quite some time since I have posted anything but I have been busy with wedding planning and working but I did want to come on a share something a little different that I have been working. As you might remember I am in to Photography and lately I have been playing with Photoshop. So this Christmas I thought why not make my own Christmas Cards using Photoshop and pictures.

So here are a few takes on the card that I made for my in-laws. Enjoy

This last card was the card my mother-in-law chose. I hope you enjoyed, and will be back to see a few more that I made.

Baby Daniel's 1st Birthday Card

Hi there,

I hope you are all enjoying this beautiful weekend. The weather is just perfect here in California!! I love this spring weather, it's just perfect, not too cold and not too hot! Today I want to share with you all a Birthday card that I made for my cousin's 1 year old son. Today was his birthday party so I created a little card to go with his gift. I just love Mo Manning's images and I especially love her first Birthday serious, they are just perfect for the occasion.

As a side note, I added Diamond Glaze to the balloons to give them a 3-D affect and make them look like real balloons.

Enjoy!!!

I'm Here!!!

Hey Everyone!!

Yes, I am still alive, just a little busy and no where near my craft room, but I did manage to pack a few things and maybe later I will open it up and get some cards made. As for now I have been playing with my Christmas present. My boyfriend bought me a Canon Rebel T1i, I absolutely love it and recommend it for anyone who is looking into purchasing a D-SLR. It's a great one for beginners!!

Today I want to show you a little photo shoot that I did. My cousin had a little girl on the 23rd of December and I promised her I would take some pics of her girls so that she could do her announcements and what not. So today I just want to share a few, so you can see how stink'n cute her lil one is.

Holiday Family Get Together

Hey there,

I just wanted to share with you all a little something that I did this week. My cousin from the Azores (Portugal) came in on the November 23rd so I planed a big family get together the Saturday after Thanksgiving. Everyone brought something to make the big meal and we all hung out and chatted. We haven't had a big family get together like this in quite some time. It seems that as us kids get older and get married our parents no longer want to get together cause they think all of us getting together just wouldn't work. So I worked some magic and I got everyone together, and it was literally all of my moms family that is in California minus my sister and her husband, who couldn't make it, some cousin in Washington and several others who are in Portugal. So here is a little family picture that we managed to take.

These are all the Freitas cousin (we were waiting for the adult to join us, lol)

And this is the whole Freitas family, 3 generations, we could have had 4 but our grandparents are in Portugal

Then the Monday after Thanksgiving I had to go back to school so I brought my cousin up with me so that she could see Sacramento and so that she could go to school with me and of course do a lot of shopping with me, lol. I was also able to take her to San Francisco to the 7 story mall and I wanted to go to Union Square for a pic with the Heart of San Francisco and their Christmas Tree but when we left Sacramento it was already late, so we didn't get any SF pics. So here are a few pics of the two of us in Sacramento.

Diana and I in Old Sac in front of the Sacramento River and the bridge

Diana and I in front of an old Pirate ship that was docking with grade school kids who had taken a field trip.

And lastly, Diana and I in front of California's State Capital Building and Christmas Tree.
We had a great time!!!

Thanks for stopping by and letting me share!!! Have a great day!!!

A little about me...

Hi there,

Sorry I haven't been around lately. With school and still not feeling too good and now catching a cold, I just haven't had my usual mojo. I will try my best though.

As for now I want to show you all some pictures that my boyfriend and I took yesterday at a wedding that he was in. His best guy friend from high school married his best girl friend from elementary school. They were together since high school and they finally got married yesterday. We were so excited for them. The wedding was gorgeous!!! Since we were both dressed up I decided to take a few photos of us.

Also today makes one year since the day we started talking. We got together after talking at his brothers wedding who got married a year ago today. We have quit the interesting story, I think it's always funny when I tell it. It's such a coincidence that we ended up together, it must have just meant to be. We have known each other forever, our families are good friends and I have always had the biggest crush on Daniel since I was young. When I found out his brother was getting married I told my brother that he had to take me as his guest, just so that I could talk to Daniel and maybe exchange numbers and what not. Sure enough we hit it off real well and here we are today, one year later. He is an absolutely amazing man, and I am so blessed that he is part of my life!!!

One year ago today this picture was randomly taken of us by Daniel's aunt as we walked to the dance floor.
And who knew that one year later we would still be together, the happiest couple ever, and still being photographed together. It must have been meant for us and I am so happy for that!!!

Thanks for stopping by today, don't forget to come back for Monday's Digital-Ink Co. Challenge and for the first ever Digital-Ink Co. Sneak Peeks!! Have a great day!!!

OCL Relax & Enjoy Lighthouse

Hi there,

I hope everyone is doing well. My first few days of school have been going well. So far I think this semester will be a good one.

A few days ago I told you all that my boyfriend and I were going to take a little trip before school started and for him to relax a little from work, which that didn't work to well, his phone rang all Monday long with clients asking for stuff. But other than that we had a wonderful time. We definitely did some sight seeing and I definitely got a few good pics. Check them out.

Walton Lighthouse in the background

We went out to get a better look at the lighthouse and in the distance we saw dolphins, I was so excited!!!

This last one is definitely my favorite picture. The other pictures are good too but they need some Photoshop help, which just so happens to be one of the classes I'm taking this semester, Digital Photography, so hopefully by the end of the semester I will be able to brighten up the pictures and not make us look so dark. I'll definitely be paying attention in that class, not that I don't normally pay attention or anything ;-P, lol, It will definitely come in handy!!

To go with my Lighthouse pictures, I made a lighthouse card using OCL Coastal Wishes Stamp Set. It goes perfectly with our little getaway. Check it out. Enjoy!!!!

Thanks for stopping by!! Have a great day!!!!

RECIPE:
Card Size: 4 x 5 1/2
Stamps: OCL Coastal Wishes
Ink: Pitch Black (Adirondack), Copic Markers
Paper: Whisper White, Green cardstock
Accessories: Paper Piercer, button

Pismo Dunes Trip

Hey everyone,

We arrived safely last night from Pismo. I had an absolute blast. The group of 19 people that we went with are just a great group to go with, we all got along so well and just had a great time laughing joking. It was a great vacation. The weather wasn't to bad, it was a bit chilly, and over cast but nothing to complain about. Except for the fact that on the last day we were there the sun came out and made everything 10 time prettier and warmer but we were leaving, it always happens like that, when your leaving things get better, I just hate that. I just wanted to share a few pictures with you all from our little vacation. Enjoy!!!

Beautiful Pismo Beach!!

These next two pictures are of our group coming into camp after going out on a long ride. We had 5 campers, 3 sand rails, 2 dirt bikes, and some 18 quads.

So it never ceased to amaze me at how small some of the quad riders were in Pismo. I swear there were like 3 year olds riding on thier own quads and they were riding fast and playing tricks, it was pretty cool. So when I saw this little girl I had to snap a pic to show you all. Amazing huh, she's soooo little!!

As I was taking picture of my new quad and these three girls road by on their horses so I couldn't resist taking a picture.

Here is a pic of me all geared up on my quad after riding up to the beach.

Here are a few pics of me next to my quad.

Sporting the Azores (Portuguese) flag on my quad

This is a pic of Daniel, my boyfriend, and I next to our quads.

The first day we came in there was a tour of horses riding on to the beach, so as we were leaving I took this picture of another horse riding tour. I would just love to go on one of these tours, but they were going really slow, I would want to gallop along the beach, what can I say I'm a romantic ;-). (The picture is a little in the distance so you may need to blow up the pic to see the horses.)

Thanks for stopping by, I hope you enjoyed my pictures, come back soon!!!
