Hi,

I hope you are all doing well. Today I want to share with you all a quick Easter card. I used an InStyle Stamps image called Window. I think it's just the cuttiest lil easter image, I love the eggs in the window and if you look close enough you'll see and Easter bunny in the background, I hadn't even noticed this until I had the image ready to color. Isn't it just darling?!!!

SU Bundled in Love - Ducky

Hey there,

I hope everyone is doing well. I'm still a little under the weather and I still haven't gotten back into my normal groove of making cards all the time. I hope after this weekend I will start feeling better and get back into doing everything that needs to be done.

As for today I just heard the news that one of my cousin's had her baby girl last night. Alivia Reise weighed 8lb 7oz  and was 20" long. Congrats to the Jorge family for their latest addition to the family!!! With this I want to share a baby card.

ISS Welcome Paris Scene

Hi there,

Just a quick post today. I'm still not feeling myself, I think the cold weather Halloween night got to me. After dancing all night and getting hot and then going outside into the cold, I probably should have brought a jacket but I figured my nun costume would have kept me warm, but I guess it might not have been enough. We will see what happens in the next few days. As for those pictures I said I would share, I left my camera in the car cause I didn't have a place for it so some of my girlfriends got a few pics so when I get a hold of them I'll definitely share with you all.

As for now, I just finished my daily blog hopping and now I'm debating whether I want to start creating or if I should do my well needed errands and then come back and start creating. We shall see!!!

D-IC Zee Sleeping on the Moon

Hello there,

I hope you are all having a great evening!!! Today was a Furlough day for me so I didn't have class. I spent most of my day creating along with sneezing, coughing, and blowing my nose and just feeling exhausted and really not wanting to do anything at all. Yea so whatever bug I got on Saturday has decided to stay with me, I'm just glad there is no fever, and headache involve and it's just cold symptoms. Hopefully it will be passing soon.

This evening I just want to share a lil card with you. I meant to share it on Monday but Mondays D-IC challenge was a "Anything but a Card" challenge so I didn't think it was appropriate at that time to share it but this card matches this door hanger that I made for the D-IC challenge exactly.

Digital-Ink Co. Challenge (DIC007)

Hey there,

I hope your week has started off on the right foot and your weekend was filled with lots of relaxation time and family and friends!!! I had awesome weekend, and it was definitely filled with family, friends and great memories!! Today I hope you will join me in playing week seven of the Digital-Ink Co. Challenge (DIC007). This weeks Challenge is to create Anything But a Card (a gift bag, cupcake, scrap page, journal, etc).

I especially love these challenges, it gets me thinking outside of the box and thinking about other things that  I could make. For this particular project that I made, I've been meaning to make it for a while now and my boyfriend gave me a little extra push to actually make it.

Here is the story: Daniel's mom babysits her little grandson, and Daniel said he stopped by to visit and see the lil' guy since it had been a while. When he got there he noticed on the kitchen table a big piece of computer paper that read, " DON'T RING DOOR BELL, BABY SLEEPING!! Daniel said he thought that was funny but it must have been because the neighbor must come by often and ring the door bell.

So he gave me the idea to make his mom a Door Hanger that read exactly what her piece of paper read. If your wondering why  I chose blue and not a neutral baby color it's because Daniels mom has four boys herself and she has one grandson and another lil boy on the way. She was hoping for a lil girl this time but she's not on her way yet, atleast not from her oldest son.

So here is what I came up with. Enjoy!!!

I think it's just perfect and I'm sure Daniel's mom will love it!!! Ethan's crib bedding is Zebra so I thought this lil image by Sewn Together was just super cute for his lil door hanger.

Doodle Beans Digital Stamps Lighthouse

OCL Relax & Enjoy Lighthouse

Hi there,

I hope everyone is doing well. My first few days of school have been going well. So far I think this semester will be a good one.

A few days ago I told you all that my boyfriend and I were going to take a little trip before school started and for him to relax a little from work, which that didn't work to well, his phone rang all Monday long with clients asking for stuff. But other than that we had a wonderful time. We definitely did some sight seeing and I definitely got a few good pics. Check them out.

We went out to get a better look at the lighthouse and in the distance we saw dolphins, I was so excited!!!

This last one is definitely my favorite picture. The other pictures are good too but they need some Photoshop help, which just so happens to be one of the classes I'm taking this semester, Digital Photography, so hopefully by the end of the semester I will be able to brighten up the pictures and not make us look so dark. I'll definitely be paying attention in that class, not that I don't normally pay attention or anything ;-P, lol, It will definitely come in handy!!

To go with my Lighthouse pictures, I made a lighthouse card using OCL Coastal Wishes Stamp Set. It goes perfectly with our little getaway. Check it out. Enjoy!!!!

Rejuvenate

A little something I have been working on, along side the many sample wedding invites I've been making, the main reason I haven't been creating for fun.

Check it out! I'll be able to use a little rejuvenation time after the bride chooses her invites and we get them done, didn't quite think it was going to be this much of a challenge, but I'm up for it!!




I was able to sneek in a few fun cards, in between the invites and I hope to beable to share with you the invites that I am working with, I may have to do some blurrying out, we will see.

Bella CASE

Hey everyone,

I'm back at least for a little bit. I was down at my parents house for about a week, it felt like forever, I was bored out of my mind and my mom kept yelling at me for always browsing the web and checking out everones blogs. She got over it after she figured she couldn't pull me away lol. Anyways Im back in Sac for a little bit so I figured I would get my card making fix real quick so that I can take off again and leave all my craft goods behind...wait why not take some with me. I figured it would be hard to take things to make cards, cause you never know what you want to use and I would probably forget a lot of things so I decided to take a scrapbook. I started a scrapbook for my parents who were remodeling the family dairy about two summers ago...that was a long time ago...I got like three pages done and gave up so I decided to pack that all together and bring it with me. So hopefully soon you will see some of the pages that I make. Im not sure if I've showed any of my pages so I'll start by blogging about those pages, but not yet.

For now here are some of the cards that I made to get my quick fix on cardmaking. This first card is a CASE of Shannon's Birthday Cake Bella card. It was just super simple and cute and I figured it would be great for a quick card so I changed up the colors and the bella. I used beachbella and as you'll notice most of the cards that I made during my quick fix are beach and summer related, hmmmmm I wonder why, I can't wait for it to heat up and be able to hit up the beach. Warm up already its June!!!! Enjoy!!!

Wedding Bliss WSC82

Hey Everyone,

I hope you guys are all enjoying the first week of June.

So I've had this dress by Inkadinkado for a long time now but I've always had trouble making a card with it because I'm not used to using big images. When I saw the sketch for the Weekend Sketch Challenge by Mary Jo I thought I would give the stamp a try with the sketch. I was inspired by her card that she made so I went along and did a CASE of her card with a different color scheme and a different image.

So here it is. As we all know by now my favorite color is purple so again I had to go with purple, I'm going to have to stop doing that lol. I'll have to start using more colors. I was all done and then I thought the dress needed a little something so I added Shimmerz to the dress to make it sparkly. Enjoy!!!!

Congrats Graduates

Does anyone else have a hard time making graduation cards? Graduation cards are my least favorite cards to make, I can never get one that I absolutely love, but this time around I think I finally got one. After making three different cards using the same stamps, I went with a super simple and quick card and I think it came out just right, quite elegant in fact. Take a look.



This one was my first attempt.
I saw this card over at Mother's Little Helper and I was inspired to do something along those lines using the TCPTUES59 sketch challenge.




This was my second attempt. Lol I was getting somewhere.



And this was my third and final attempt since it came out quite simple and very nice.

I had my final exam today, I think I did pretty well. So now it's all about summer vacation and getting back to my card and my scrapbooks, so you'll be seeing a whole lot of me from now until school starts. So stay tuned for some of my creations.

Mojo83 Because of you

So here is the second and third card that I made for Mother's Day. They are a set, as you scroll down one is pink and the other is blue, but they are the same exact card. They are just super cute!!! The original idea for this card was made by Charmaine over at Oodabug Alley and you can see the original card at this link. She uses the Mojo83 sketch and the just released Verve set, Because of you. I just loved the card and I had everything to create it so I gave it a shot and did the blue one at the same time.
