Digital-Ink Co. Challenge (DIC007)

Hey there,

I hope your week has started off on the right foot and your weekend was filled with lots of relaxation time and family and friends!!! I had awesome weekend, and it was definitely filled with family, friends and great memories!! Today I hope you will join me in playing week seven of the Digital-Ink Co. Challenge (DIC007). This weeks Challenge is to create Anything But a Card (a gift bag, cupcake, scrap page, journal, etc).

I especially love these challenges, it gets me thinking outside of the box and thinking about other things that  I could make. For this particular project that I made, I've been meaning to make it for a while now and my boyfriend gave me a little extra push to actually make it.

Here is the story: Daniel's mom babysits her little grandson, and Daniel said he stopped by to visit and see the lil' guy since it had been a while. When he got there he noticed on the kitchen table a big piece of computer paper that read, " DON'T RING DOOR BELL, BABY SLEEPING!! Daniel said he thought that was funny but it must have been because the neighbor must come by often and ring the door bell.

So he gave me the idea to make his mom a Door Hanger that read exactly what her piece of paper read. If your wondering why  I chose blue and not a neutral baby color it's because Daniels mom has four boys herself and she has one grandson and another lil boy on the way. She was hoping for a lil girl this time but she's not on her way yet, atleast not from her oldest son.

So here is what I came up with. Enjoy!!!

I think it's just perfect and I'm sure Daniel's mom will love it!!! Ethan's crib bedding is Zebra so I thought this lil image by Sewn Together was just super cute for his lil door hanger.

Thanks for stopping by, have a great day and don't forget to head over to the Digital-Ink Co. Challenge Blog and check out what inspirations the other Design Team members have for ya.

Baby's Everywhere!!

Hey there,

I hope you are all enjoying your week!!! I know I am, this week I only have my Tuesday and Thursday classes. My Wednesday and Friday classes this week are being Furloughed so we don't have class. Yup even college classes are being furloughed, how sad is that. For my Friday class on our own we are supposed to go over what would have been scheduled for the class that day, which includes going over notes, reading and teaching ourselves how to use Microsoft Access and then take an assessment to see if we learned anything. Not to hard but all the things we would have done during a 3 hour period with our instructor. I'm still excited though, it means I get a 4 day weekend, this semester I don't have classes on Monday so I always have a 3 day weekend!! Lucky me, huh?!!

For today I want to show you some baby cards. No joke, this year I know sooo many pregnant women, all due from now to March. They all decided to get pregnant all due around the same time. Must have been something in the water, ;-). And then I know several women on the blogs that I follow who have just had babies too, so it's everywhere not just around me. It must be the season, or something. But yea I have 6 family members, 5 friends, and my boyfriends sister-in-law who are all expecting. That's 12 expecting mommies I know!! I don't think I have ever known so many women expecting all at the same time. I think it's kind of cool.

So for today I have a set of baby cards to share, one for a boy and one for a girl. These cards also qualify for  the Whiff of Joy candy with a twist, which is to make Alison Acton a baby card. She is awaiting the birth of her first child, a little boy, next Friday, the 16th October.

Enjoy!!!!

Thanks for stopping by today, have a great day!!!

Hello everyone,

Welcome to the InStyle Stamps Blog Hop. This is my first time ever participating in a blog hop so I am super excited!!! InStyle Stamps has some awesome new images to share with you all. In order to see all of the new images you must visit each Design Team Members blog and leave comments on each of our blogs and at the end of the hop go to the InStyle Stamps Blog to vote on your favorite project, and then leave a comment on that post (not mine) answering the following question:

"What is your favorite fall treat?"

The design team member whose project gets the most votes will get a prize, and InStyle Stamps will also be giving away a Grand Prize to 1 lucky reader (winner will be randomly drawn from the comments on the ISS blog post).
The contest is open until 11:59pm EST Saturday, and the winners will be announced Sunday.

This months theme is Treats and the new image that I am introducing to you is Tea Society Cynthia. Isn't she cute!!! The little saying that I made up when creating with her was "Trick-or-Tea-Treats" and to go with that I made little tea bag holders so that I could give tea away as treats.

Take a look and Enjoy!!!!

All of my projects together.

Hey there,

I hope all is well. Everything is well with me. Sorry things have been slow here around my blog, my granfathers services were last night and this morning so I haven't been anywhere near a computer in last few days, but I hope to get back ontop of things.

I have several cards to show you all,I just haven't gotten around to uploading them and making posts. I need to start getting better and scheduling my posts, I always have the picture uploaded but I always fall behind on typing up the details,so I will need to train myself to upload pics and add details at the same time so that it's all set and ready to go and I don't have to worry about doing it all last minute.

For this afternoon I want to share with you all a sneak peak of one of the new Ocober Digital Anime Halloween images from InSytle Stamps.

ISS Tall & Thin Wednesday Challenge

Hey everyone,

I haven't lost my head because it's attached but I'm sure if it could happen I would be headless a majority of the time. As you all know I had a very sad and somewhat hectic weekend, and when I left my apartment I left in a hurry and I was carrying a lot of things. Well when I got back up to Sacramento Monday evening I pulled up to my apartment gate and I couldn't find my keys which have the clicker for the apartment gate. I always place my keys in my cup holder because they only contain Sacramento Apartment keys, so I don't need them any other time. So I searched my purse, I searched my trunk with all my stuff and no keys to be found. Eventually someone else was going in and opened the gate and I was able to get in. So I parked and searched some more but no where. So I ended up going to the office to get a spare key and make a copy so that's was how I got into my apartment. So I searched the inside of my apartment, but thinking logically, I would have locked the door so the keys would not be in the apartment but never the less I looked. I searched my bags, I searched my clothes, my purse again, my backpack which I didn't take, my desk, I checked my car, my trunk, under my seats, EVERYWHERE!!! I even went out to the dumpster last night to check, cause I threw some trash out but I was carrying to much to have dumped the trash out and gone to my car and left, so I don't think that was a possibility, that they got thrown in with the trash, I probably wasn't carrying them. My mom looked at our house but I'm not sure she looked thoroughly, plus I don't know why I would have removed them from my car they always stay in my cup holder since they don't get used unless I am in Sac. Never the less I CAN"T FIND MY KEYS and everything is just a mess and I am soooo out of it. HEEELLLLPPPP!!!!!

Enough of that, I thought I would share with you all a project I made. Over at InStyle Stamps Blog the Wednesday Challenge for today is to make a card/project that is "Tall and Thin" so I decided to go with a project and make a door hanger for a little girl. In my opinion I think it came out super cute and just perfect for a little girl who wants to keep her little brother out when she's playing with her girlfriends just like Emily and Irene are doing in this pic. LOL KEEP OUT little man!!!!

Enjoy!!!

Thanks for stopping by, have a great day, and if you see my keys running around, please tell them their owner is looking for them!!!! ;-)

Digital-Ink Co. Recipe Challenge

Hey there everyone,

I hope your are all having a great morning. So far I am doing fine. I think it's really going to hit me and the rest of my family at the services when we have to say our goodbye's. That is always the hardest and most emotional time, but we will be all together to help each other get through this tough time. We are a rather large family, my grandparents had 8 children and each had 2 to 4 children and there are plenty of great-grandchildren also. Most of my family is with in an hour driving distance from each other excetp a cousin who lives in Washington with her husband and two little boys and then one of my aunts lives in the Azores (Portugal) with her husband and two sons, daughter-in-laws and two grandchildren. My uncle and aunt have plans to catch a flight on Tuesday and arrive here on Wednesday and my cousin from Washington is coming down too so we will all be together.

Graduation Cards

I used A Muse Grad Cap and Grad Scroll. The letters are Your Not My Boss Cuttlebug Diecut Letters. These cards were very simple you can change up the colors to make it match the graduates school colors. There will be more to come. The saying from the card below I believe is an SU stamp but I typed it into the computer and printed it out for I don't own the stamp and I think its a very inspirational quote. Enjoy!!

These two are money card.
