Just being creative

So I thought I would play a little more with my new Elzybell Christmas stamps and play a bit with embossing with my Nestibilities and make a one layer simple card. I had a little bit of trouble with it but I think if I know how to fix the problem next time. My Nesties are not centered well and they aren't even, they tend to move once you start to slide them through the Cuttlebug so next time I'll have to tape them down before rolling them through. Also, if you look at the third picture, my glue ink pad and glitter got a little messy and then I tried to fix it with my glue pen and that just made it look worse.

In the Labratory, hehe

Lol, In the lab making some creations, just for a few minutes while I take a break from an essay and studying for a test for tomorrow, that's why I have been away, but since Halloween is approaching faster than I expected I decided I needed to take a break and make some more cards. I knew I was going to run out of time. So here are some creations, simple with lots of glitter and glue.

Warning: Glitter gets everywhere and glue is hard to erase!!!

For this first card I used A Muse "Hanging Spider" and A Muse "Happy Halloween" Sentiment and I made the spider web after visiting Tobi Crawford tutorial on making glitter spider webs. I added some red stickles glitter to the spider butt so that they are a little more creepier, hate spider, yuk!!!

For this second card I made my own web and spider and I noticed a challenge on Amy Sheffer's blog that was issued by Emily Gunnell (aka WaterPixie) from Dirty Dozen on SCS. It goes like this:

Challenge Focus: Create a Halloween card or treat holder.

Required Element: Googlie Eyes! We want to see those eyes jiggle!

Restricted Element: No pumpkins! You'll have to use a different image associated with Halloween!

Hope you like it, and thanks for stopping by!

Final Father's Day Card

I got the My Hero Stamp Set from Treehouse Stamps right on time and I was able to make this adorable card for my dad for father's day. It was so me and my dad when I was younger, well until he couldn't lift his feet anymore with me on them lol, I loved dancing on his feet. My dad and I love love love to dance, when my mom is not up to it I like to grab my dad to dance, we have lots of fun. I think it was the perfect card for him, I think he really liked it!! Enjoy!!

SU So Many Scallops Set

Sweet One Scallop
I used Fiskars Dry Embossing plates and ran them through my cuttlebug to make the baby feet and hands and I used my nestabilities and also ran them through my cuttlebug to take the circles and the scalloped circles, and i ran the a second tie through to make the embossed effect around the edges. I then added some glitter with stickles. Very simple and quick cards!!

Celebrate The Season Scallop
The same goes for this set. For the embossed snowflakes I used a cuttlebug embossing folder and ran it through my cuttlebug.

Happy Birthday Scallop
The embossed circles and the happy birthday are also cuttlebug folders and I used stickles glitter for the candles.

So Sweet Scallop
I think this card came out really nice, I wasn't expecting it to work out so well. I used Martha Stewart Glitter, and My Big Ideas patterned paper.

Thanks for visiting!!!
