D-IC Lil' Cowboy on the Farm

Hi there,

Lets just say  I am super excited!!! I have been meaning to put this card together since the first day I saw this Lil Cowboys tush at Digital-Ink Co., lol. I have had him and the rest of the card all colored and ready to just put together but I never got some extra time to actually do it. So yesterday before going to class for my exam I decided that after doing a little studying I would finally put the card all together. I've had this idea for these images for the longest time and finally I got to put it all together. And if I must say so myself, I think it came out just like I had pictured, perfect ;-), hehe!!! Isn't he just freak'n adorable. In a few years when I have my own kids or maybe I won't wait that long, I'll hope for a nephew, I'll buy the lil guy some cowboy boots and a hat and I'll take him outside at my parents dairy and take this exact picture, lol, wouldn't it be adorable?!!! It'll be like an Anne Geddy pic except by me, lol!!

Enough rambling, take a look and Enjoy!!!!

Thanks for stopping by, I hope you enjoyed my project as much as I did!! Have a great day!!!

VLVMay04 Masculine

The {twist} this week is to make it masculine! Great time to get some father's day cards done, or bday cards for the men in your life! Other than a masculine theme, anything goes!

This weeks keywords are Verve (if you use Verve stamps) and VLVMay04.
Verve stamps are NOT required to play or be eligible, but if you have them, use them!

So here is my last card for this months Verve Challanges. I decided to finally use my Tractor stamp from High Hopes. The colors are unisex but hopefully it is masculine enough for the challenge, I really like this paper combo by My Mind's Eye. Enjoy!!!!

Recipe:
Card Size: 5 x 6 1/2
Stamps: High Hopes Tractor
Ink: Pitch Black (Adirondack), Copic Markers
Paper: My Mind's Eye Tres Belle "Family Tree" Floral and Plaid
Accessories: Paper Piercer, Shimmerz, Brads, SU Photo Corner Punch

TCPTUES55

Hey everyone,
I hope you guys are enjoying your week. I've had a pretty hectic few days, therefore I haven't been around to stamping. These next three weeks are going to be very busy for me it's the last three weeks of the semester and then final's so I probably won't be around to much, but summer vacation will come and I hope to be around a whole lot more.

So earlier today I decided to do some stamping. I was inspired by Jen del Muro's TCPTUES card, it's just absolutely darling, so I figured I would try something along those lines using the TCPTUES55 sketch (scroll down for the details to the sketch challenge). But here is the story, I had class at 6 and I started stamping around 4:30. I'm stamping, I'm coloring, I'm gluing, I'm adding finishing touches an I look up and it was 5:47 yikes, I was going to miss my class. It was just perfect timing to grab my backpack and hit the road. So I got lost in card making world, who doesn't lol. I got to class a little after 6 but thank goodness the teacher was latter than I was, lucky me, right lol. So yea that is my story about this card. I hope you guys like, I thought it came out pretty cute.

Oh on another note, I ordered the new Because of You stamp set from Verve Stamps and I just got it in the mail today, I was so excited but when I got the mail I was on my way out of town for the weekend so that made me a little sad, but I hope soon to play with the new set and show you some cards. Stay tuned.

Enjoy and Thanks for stopping by.

Herd it's your 1st Birthday

Hey everyone,

My boyfriends nephew is turning one this Saturday and he is having a Barn Yard themed Birthday Party so what better than a Barn Yard themed Birthday Card. High Hopes has some great farm images so I had to play with them. I saw this card idea on the high hopes web page and thought I would give it a try. This first image is a pic of my mountains, I thought they turned out so good I didn't want to add the rest of the images. I didn't want to cover up my pretty work, so I took a pic lol. But anyways I hope you guys enjoy my card, I think it came out very nicely.
