CASED Fifth Avenue Floral

Hey there,

I hope everyone has been enjoying their weekend. I've been a little busy but not with card making, I still haven't gotten back to Sacramento to make more cards, I should be back up there soon and you bet the first thing I do is make a bunch of cards. I've been deprived and I truly miss creating. But I do have one last card to show you that I made before leaving my craft room.

I was inspired by this card made by Tammy from Stamp Happy. I used her general layout but changed up the paper, stamps, and ribbon.

So here it is. Enjoy!!!

Thanks for stopping by enjoy the rest of you weekend and the beginning of your week. Thanks for stopping by!!

Mojo85 - Fifth Avenue Floral

First Monday of the month means Mojo Monday Contest so I've decided to participate. With mothers day around the corner I need to get some ideas in so what better than to start with a lil mojo.

I figured I would use SU's Fifth Avenue Floral, I can't get enough of it, it is so pretty and so fun to make 3-D, so this time I made the rose 3-D, it's such a great effect. I used the Urban Oasis paper and then I stamped the rose of Baja Breeze with white ink, and you might as why I didn't us the paper with that look, well I like to hoard my paper, I don't like to use it, lol I'm weird what can I say. I have a ton of paper but it's just to pretty to use, I know there are more of us out there lol.

This picture is to show the dimensions, I used 3-D dots to lift up the image for a 3-D effect. I just love the 3-D effect it gives your cards a whole different look, and it makes it fun to play with.

Enjoy and thanks for stopping by and don't forget to scroll down and play along for the Mojo Monday Contest.

Mojo82

Hey everyone,

I hope you all enjoyed your Easter weekend. I know I did except when it came to Easter Dinner at my parents house I became very sick and laid on the couch between running to the bathroom. I and some 20 other people who all attended the same 1st bday party and Easter festivities all came down with a nasty nasty flu bug. It was bad and it hit us all at different time. I've never seen anything like that but it was one nasty but and I hope none of you out there get it, it wasn't fun.

Enough about that, I decided today instead of doing some homework I would make a lil mojo so here is what I came up with. I think it is quite beautiful and exactly what I was thinking in my head, I hope you guys enjoy it as much as do.

The cala lily is popped up with pop dots in three layers to give it a little 3D look.

Recipe:
Card Size: 4 x 5 1/2
Paper: Me&My Big Ideas Fashion District Paper Pad
Stamps: SU Fifth Avenue Floral, Inkadinkado Sentiment
Ink: Pitch Black (Adirondak),
Accessories: Fun Flock yellow & white, American Craft Checkered Ribbon, EK Success Fleur de lis edger, Martha Stewart Crafts™ Simple Scallop Edge Punch, button, pop dots

Thanks for stopping by, have a great day and don't forget to play along.
