ISS Valentine Cupcakes

Happy Friday!!!

I hope you all had a wonderful week. Despite the passing of my grandfather on Sunday, I can say that my week went well. This week was a very productive card making week, which excites me since I'm no where near my craft zone but I managed to pack a few things which helped me make lots of cards this week. So on to my card!!

I decided to play along with this weeks InStyle Stamps Wednesday Challenge which was to make a card or project that incorporates a "SWEETS" theme! Can be anything- cupcakes, candy- you name it, as long as it screams SWEETS! I decided to use Cupcakes by InStyle Stamps as my "Sweets" image. I also used the Skipping Stones Design Tuesday Sketch Challenge (SSD07) and was inspired by Amy Sheffer's take on this sketch and decided to CAS it. She always does such great work and she is always inspiring me. Thanks Amy!!!

Enjoy!!!

InStyle Stamps Blog Hop

Hi there,

Welcome to the October InStyle Stamps Blog Hop!! Before I get to the Hop details I just want to let you all know that I had a follow-up with my doctor yesterday and she says that my bronchitis is much better and that the meds are working well, so I will be as good as new soon. That works for me cause that means no more coughing and whizzing for me, horray, and just in time for Halloween, yeah!!!! Now lets get back to it!!

This months hop theme is Set the Table. InStyle Stamps has release some great stamps this month!! They have release a line called Recipe and those are some of the images you will be seeing today in my post.

Since this months hop theme is Set the Table I thought to myself, "You can't set the table if you don't have a meal to set the table for, right??", so for my project I made Recipe Cards and a Recipe Box to store your recipes in.

Enjoy!!!!

Now head on over to Mary's blog to continue your way on the hop. If you didn't come here from Virginia's blog then head on over to the InStyle Stamps Blog to start at the start of the ISS blog hop. ISS Slice of Cake

Goodmorning,

I hope you are all doing well this morning! I'm still under the weather but hopefully these antibiotics will start kicking in and kick'n some virus butt cause I can't stand coughing anymore! This breathing treatment that I take for the cough makes my heart beat fast and it makes me shaky. The doctor warned me about this but I didn't think the symptoms would be so noticeable.

Anyways, here is another InStyle Stamps image. This one is called Slice of Cake. I decided to make it more real by adding some liquid applique to the inside of the cake and add some textured to the top by adding some flower soft.

Enjoy my delicious looking cake!!!

Thanks for stopping by, have a great day!!!

Wasn't to sure what I wanted to do but this is what I came up with. I've also been meaning to use the crochet flowers my mom made for me so here is my first attempt at adding them to a card.

Birthday Cake

This week's All That Scraps Design Team Challenge was to make a card/item totally inspired by ribbon.

I used American Craft Premium Ribbon and the Large Whimsical Outline Cake by Savvy stamps. I have a lot of birthdays coming up so I had to start getting them done, so this was a good inspiration and I specifically used birthday ribbon and used the colors on the ribbon and matched it with my paper.

I made two cards they are exactly the same except for the paper piercing on the corners. I thought it needed a little something else but it looks the same to me. Enjoy and thanks for stopping by!!

Don't forget to check out what the DT members came up with here on the ATS blog a little later today. And don't forget to keep your eye on the Challenge Forum for when it's posted there so you can play too! :)

Just wanted to show you the beautiful roses I bought at Costco for my friends 21st b-day. They are absolutely breath taking, I love roses, but cala lilies are my favorite flower!!!
